SMD 5x7 Matrix Display

That is the pcb layout of the 5x7 matrix display with a ATMega8L MCU.

Dip switch #1 is for switching on/off teh power. Dip switch 2-4 selects up to 7 different program sections.

All characters are stored in the EEprom section of the ATMega8 and do not need and flash or ram memory!

For defining the characters i wrote a small visual basic program which makes the definition very easy.
