"Scarecrow's Revenge" is pure bliss for Goose and Niko flame keepers. Let's admit
it, we'll NEVER get it presented on a platter as obvious as this again. Okay, there IS a plot in there, and
a rather good one at that, but all that pales in comparison to the angry looks Niko throws at Maya, who, in turn,
throws looks of a whole different quality at Goose. Lucky guy.
Before I let you run wild with your mouse, let me say a few things in advance.
These files are in GERMAN. As of yet, I do not own any English episodes, which is likely to change soon.
I do not view this as a poor substitute though. On the contrary. Let me elaborate.
I recently got an earful of original sounds from a listmember out of the same episode presented here. Normally,
my reaction to hearing the original voice cast of my favorite series is a small epiphany to me. As I said, usually.
Shane Gooseman is voiced by Doug Preis, who, as many people tell me, does a damn good Clint Eastwood impersonation,
but here, he sounds more like reading the weather forecast than like the rugged, deep voice I was used to.
Yes, this is not Doug Preis I am talking about. This is "the unknown man behind the microphone who still gives me
goosebumps (is this a pun? :-) after all these years". And he happens to speak German.
What can I say? I'm addicted to him. I can't help it. It's hormones.
You'll also find that the others have rather nice voices also. Hey, just click and find out! And PLEAAZZE tell me if
you agree or disagree with my assessment. I'd like to know if I'm in my right mind or just terribly taken by the man.
These scenes may not be the best to illustrate this, but since I know some people might have them in English to compare,
I'll go with them.
