In 1975, Roma from Kosovo were invited to the wine festival in the town
of Bingen. The people of Bingen enjoyed their presentations of traditional
dancing very much. Bingen has a city partnership with Prizren. The Roma
dance ensemble and their director Saip Meneske expressed their pride
on that occasion in being citizens of modern Yugoslavia. The wine-growers
of Bingen presented a book with photographs of the wine festival to
the Roma and dedicated it to them.
